This is the blog for Mood Apps, a mobile app development company dedicated to developing apps that support mood management, and more specifically for their Android app Mood Sentry. Mood Sentry is designed to support people in therapy for mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. Mood Sentry (www.moodsentry.com) supports a cognitive therapy approach to mood management. I'll post thoughts relevant to my efforts to manage my depression and how I use Mood Sentry.

Spent Some Time on the Journaling Tools
I spent some time this evening working with the journaling tools. I was reviewing some existing entries and started a new one related to contacting people I haven't spoken to in a while. This is a big issue with me and I think some self reflection might help. It usually takes a week or two for me to figure out how to capture my thoughts in a succinct and coherent manner. I'll see how it develops. Other than that, reviewing previous entries is a good thing to do at the end of the day. I have so many entries at this time that I'm often mildly surprised by how appropriate some of them are for whatever is on my mind. I guess I can forget what I wrote after a while.
